What does RetroPilot help me do?
Find relevant properties, reveal and save relevant addresses, organise visits and record the outcome. It connects property research with your day on the street.
Explore the workflowWhat happens after I request access?
Your enquiry tells us which plan and working area you are interested in. We reply by email to discuss the workspace and next steps. Sending an enquiry does not create an account or take a payment.
Request accessHow do I choose properties for my trade?
Start with a postcode or working area, then filter energy ratings, floor area and recorded improvements such as solar or insulation. Review the available details, reveal the addresses you choose and save them for your next round.

The difference between activating a workspace and revealing a new property.
How do activation and top-ups work?
Solo and Team use a one-off workspace activation with included property credits. When you need more credits, the workspace owner can buy a credit pack in Billing. See Pricing for the current activation amounts, included credits and pack prices.
See current plans and credit packsHow do additional Team seats work?
The owner can purchase extra seats in Billing, then invite people from the Team page. Each additional seat is a one-off purchase and shares the workspace’s existing credits and storage; it does not add property credits. The owner counts as a seat. Deactivate a departing member to free their seat while retaining their work. Pending invitations reserve a seat until accepted, cancelled or expired.
Check the current seat priceAre searches unlimited?
Searches are included and do not spend credits. Your workspace must be active with a positive balance. Coverage, result limits and reasonable search limits apply; seats and saved-work storage follow your plan.
What uses a property credit?
Revealing one new property uses one credit. Searching, reopening a property already revealed in the workspace, planning routes and exporting revealed properties use no extra reveal credits. Live search still requires a positive credit balance.
Do two Team members pay twice for the same property?
No. The first reveal uses one shared credit. If another member finds that already-revealed property through search and opens it, the workspace is not charged another reveal credit. Each member keeps their own work and visit notes.
What happens when the balance reaches zero?
You can return to already-revealed properties and continue working with existing routes while your account remains active. The owner needs to top up before live searches and new property reveals can continue.
Where do I see purchases or get help with a payment?
The workspace owner opens Billing from the signed-in menu to view the balance and purchase records. For a payment query, contact support with the account email and relevant order reference. Do not send card details.

What the records tell you and where coverage varies.
Which areas are covered?
Property search covers England and Wales where records are available. Planning records cover selected areas in England, with coverage varying by council.
Check data coverageHow current is the property information?
Energy ratings and recommendations come from the property’s energy certificate (EPC), which describes the home when it was assessed. Check the certificate date and recorded details; the home may have changed since then. Confirm the present condition when speaking with the resident or carrying out a survey.
Will a property card show all its planning history?
The planning section shows available applications, decisions and local restrictions matched to the property. It is not a complete planning-history search. No matching record does not mean no previous application or restriction. Check the relevant council when a decision depends on a planning record.
Explore the property cardDoes RetroPilot provide household contact details or send mail?
RetroPilot helps you research properties and organise your own field work. It does not supply homeowner phone numbers or email addresses, or send household mail campaigns on your behalf.
Team accounts & invitations
Individual access within the company workspace.
Does each worker need a separate paid workspace?
The owner invites workers into the Team workspace, within its seat allowance. Each worker gets an individual login and personal view, connected to the same company credit balance. They do not need to activate a separate Solo workspace for that Team work.
See how Solo and Teams workCan workers search and build their own routes?
Yes. Active members can search using the shared Team balance, save or reveal properties and build routes for their own work. The owner can also assign routes to workers.
Who can see notes and manage billing?
Workers see their own saved properties, assigned work and personal visit activity. Other workers' private notes are not shared with them. The owner has company oversight and manages invitations, access and credit purchases.
Compare worker and owner accessWhat if an invitation or password link does not work?
Use the most recent email and the email address the invitation was sent to. Ask the Team owner to resend an invitation if necessary. For an existing account, use Forgot password on the sign-in page or contact support.

Planning on desktop and using the next stop on your device.
Can I move between my computer, tablet and phone?
Yes. Sign in to the same account on each device to access your saved work. A larger screen is useful for research and planning; the phone layout puts the next stop, directions and visit actions within reach.
How do directions and route ordering work?
Choose the order of your stops in RetroPilot. Directions opens the selected stop in Google Maps or Apple Maps for walking or driving, or Waze for driving. The map's connecting lines show stop order; they are not an automatically optimised road route.
See the route plannerHow do I install RetroPilot?
Open Settings in your workspace and choose Install app. RetroPilot is a progressive web app (PWA). On supported browsers you can install it or add it to your home screen, then open it from an app icon. It uses the same account and workspace as the website.
Can I work without a signal?
Live search, new property reveals and syncing need an internet connection. A route previously saved on that device can remain available offline. Before heading out, open and save the route while connected; reconnect and press Save route again to sync any route progress saved on the device.
Can I keep notes and follow-up dates?
Record a visit outcome and notes against the property, and add a follow-up date when you need to return. You can pick up the next action from the workspace without rebuilding the property list.
