05

Planning and local constraints

Open the property card to check available planning records and local constraints in England. Coverage and property matching vary; missing records do not prove there is no history or restriction.

Coverage, dates and attribution

Energy ratings and recorded improvements use Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) information for England and Wales. Check the assessment and certificate dates: a new search does not mean the home has been reassessed. Available details vary between records.

Use the recorded details and recommendations to choose what to review; a current assessment confirms the work needed.

Planning information covers available applications, decisions and restrictions in selected areas of England. Council coverage varies. A missing result does not establish that there is no planning history or restriction.
